Smoked a joint and 10mins later I get arrested…
For exercising my freedom of speech.
I was arrested because I said they couldn’t look in my bag. I told them where my weed was but they proceeded to look through it while I was under “arrest”. No handcuffs, no charges. Just bull shit excuses and being called “unintelligent” and “stupid” by some hick cop. My favorite was when I said “Why am I being arrested for smoking something that occurs naturally in nature, is less harmful than alcohol and cigarettes and for not even causing a scene or hurting someone?” they responded with “What does that have to do with anything?” and I politely responded with “Well then why am I being arrested?” and they determined that I was showing off…
I was later “released” on scene. All of my weed intact…
Glad to see the cops are keeping the streets safe from the evil pot smokers. To serve and protect your sponsors’ wishes. Ladies and gentlemen, our tax dollars at work.
These laws are a waste of our money.
and completely unjust. I’m sure their time and services could be relocated in known problem areas of the city.
Stop the Harper government and the insanity that ensues under conservative governments.
